So, I'm probably up too late to be posting this but could someone validate what's listed below. I sent a a PM to @1LoudLS asking another question regarding this but I figured I'd share my thoughts/plans with the rest of LVC. I'm looking to get my trunk back. Doing the following I hope to replace a blown speaker and get my trunk back. Links are from Sonic and Crutchfield, they seem to be the easiest to find stuff through for me.

1. These Alpine Speakers (6 Total).

Doors - Alpine SPR-68

Rear Deck - Alpine SPR-69

2. Wired like this (plus a third pair for the rear deck).

Four 4 Ohm SVC Speakers to Monoblock Amplifier

3. To this amplifier (or one that works).

Alpine MRX - M100 Mono Block Amplifier

Thanks guys and gals, assuming you respond.

Well technically it will work, but unless you want to completely lose your stereo separation (L/R) and have it sound like ass you should get a 4 channel amp. You would have to have another one to drive the 6x9's..say a 2 channel. If I had to ditch my subs, I would look at a 5 channel amp to drive everything and use a real 6x9 subwoofer.

Makes perfect sense. Thanks.

I thought I had something wrong. This gets the ball rolling for me. I thought there was a problem in my thought there late last night. I asked @1loudls but I'll ask it here too. Is the preamp from a receiver added to what's going to the speakers?

No, you won't be using the preamplifier if you are going through a 4 channel amp.

yea i just got the message PMed

but you will not want to use a mono class D amp for all of the door speakers, those are just designed for subs, you would be best getting a 4ch amp for all of the full range speakers. i've actually been talking to alex about this exact same scenario this week. you would probably be best off, getting the exact same set of speakers for all four doors and then running them off of the front two channels with the pairs ran at 2ohms in parallel, then running the rear deck lid set off of the rear two channels. you could also run the rear doors off of the rear channels if you wanted to but then you really have to set the HPF's a little higher than you normally would. but would probably be a better option if you where running components up front (which i always recommend if your going to be spending this kind of money) and the two pairs of door speakers where not the exact same model (ant putting components in the rear doors are a pain in the ass to find a good spot for the tweeters unless the components have the option to mount the tweeter coaxially )

you could also get two separate amps instead of one 4ch buts its reall not needed unless all three sets are really different from each other.
