I was curious about the atmospheric conditions and such for Saturday when I head to the track for one last time this year and here is what I found!

Hourly Forecast 6AM Noon 6PM Midnight
Temp. | Dew Point 30 | 26 42 | 28 43 | 29 36 | 29

Humidity will be:

6AM: 84%
Noon:60%
6PM: 58%

If I input an average temperature of 40 degrees before noon, when most of my passes will occur and say that the humidity will theoretically be at 70% and falling when I start running at 9AM with pressures around 30 inches Hg, here is the DA that I get for this Saturday:

-251 FT below sea level:eek:

I did an ET correction for my time when I was out last, and I got a 13.42. This could get very interesting! If I crack a 13.42 or better out of this car, I am going to be floored. I am hoping that the barometric pressure hovers as close to 30 as possible.

The lowest DA I've ever seen here was like 4am last winter when it was -7*, and it was still in the 3000s. So basically I hate you sea level guys.

The track is 838 ft above sea level. But I do understand the hatred. I would never race anything in the mountains. :p

I can't complain. both tracks I raced at are around 50' asl :)

Yeah, we don't see that up here. :( The 30 degree temperatures in the morning are working in my favor here and now it is looking like the forecast for tomorrow is "clear". So with the sun coming out, and mid to upper 30s in the morning, I'm hoping traction will be a non-issue. Bracket racing starts at 1PM. So my mission is to get in enough cool passes in the morning with some breaks in between and try to crack out a new best.

Just did some looking.

Portland dragstrip is -6.6' elevation. Current da is -48.61' but its raining.

Maui is 52.5' with current da at 1711'

What track are you running at? How'd you run?
As your Albequerque buddy says- high altitude's a bitch. I'm in Ruidoso tonight at 6500 ft.

You need to read your response to the other thread and take a reality check. Take your medication and then we can talk. You sound like a fool and I'm not answering your question. :D
