I'm getting all the materials together for my headlight restore.

I have the 3M kit, minwax, mineral spirits, microfiber cloth, rubbing alcohol and water bottle. I also have what's in the picture below. but I want to make sure to be on the safe side. Cause I read if it's not blue it can cause discoloration.

I read that you need the Blue Scott towels. Is this the Scott towels or do I need a blue Scott towel rag like material?

I just wet sand with 1500 then 2000 then buff with meguires headlight restore compound. They look brand new when done. No idea about those blue towels.

Yes, those are the towels I believe.

I know you probably want to do it yourself as I did but, just FYI my local Meineke offers it for $30 and my Super Walmart does it or $40. When I did it on my '01 Conti. it was ALOT of work.

I just used regular paper towels to apply the urethane. Just make sure it goes on smoothly and doesn't run. It'd be a bit easier with those towels as they would absorb and spread a little more smoothly.
