You dont add an SCT. An SCT tuner is just the device that allows you to reflash the pcm with the new tune with modifications to the way the pcm runs the car to gain performance if you tuned it that way.

You can use a sct tuner on a v6, the proof is here. I think the v6 was cracked after the v8, but it was cracked.


You can either buy a tuner and have a performance shop dyno tune your ls or buy a tuner with a tune from torrie.
