Some new photos of my 1990 BMW 325i.

Actually yes, :).

Had the engine, tranny out. Got all new hoses, gaskets, clutch, rebuilt drive shaft, and bunch of other new stuff.

Also got a steering rack from a 95 Z3 which is mucb, much faster than the original one.

A brand spanking new Euro 3 spoke OEM steering wheel.

Car drives wonderful.

Gotta take it for photoshoot soon. Roof rack is off.

I remember when u got the CL... it became my favorite car of all time (well one of them). Have you had any issues with it? I've heard that they can be pretty bad on repairs.

Must be nice to have those parts interchange betweeen other BMW models. Plus, the enormous aftermarket for BMWs in general....lovely.

A friend of mine used to have E30 M3 back home (same color as yours) and it was a delight to drive that car.

Got my eyes peeled for the new pictures....:)

Hyelife..we have somewhat similiar tastes/paths.

I had a new 1992 318is (E36 Chassis) in 1992. Added M3 wheels and M3 bodykit to it around 1997. Also added the 3 pack VDO guage cluster under the climate control and a Jim Conforti chip. Totalled it in 1999.

Wanted a used 528i with Sport Package..but saw the NEW LS V6 with Sport for same price. Got the LS in 1999 and sold it in 2002 for the V8 LSE which I still have. And love. (handling and road feel/steering feel on this thing at 144k is still amazing)

Never forgot about my E36 love...so couple years back picked up a Arctic Silver 1999 E36 M3 Vert. It was in good condition and I spent a fair amount on it bringing it to excellent condition. Had all 5 wheels refurbished, I redid the entire interior with leatherseats.com, new OEM CD head unit, new glass headlamps with citylights, mildly smoked tails, corners, sidemarkers. New OEM mats. New OEM struts, shocks/shock reinforcement plates in back, Control Arms/Control Arm Bushings, Tie Rods, Ball joints, alignment. Literally got her in perfect, flawless running condition. Engine and (automatic) transmission strong and quick as new.

As GREAT as the auto transmission was in there(quick shifting..kept the revs during spirited driving, especially in "s" mode), I never could REALLY get over the E36 in anything other than a 5 speed manual. So, sold it to my sister last year who LOVES IT. It's her weekend toy.

I searched the market for another toy for myself and got another car that I admired for years: 2002 CLK55 AMG Convertible. 35k miles. Garage Kept. White exterior/black interior. All stock except for XM add on module and 17inch AMG wheels were replaced with 19 inch AMG wheels. Rest of the car? Absolutely flawless. 5.4 liter v8 with almost 400ft/lbs of torque. Admittedly its an auto..but it has the SelectShift type transmission..and it only came..in an auto. So no constant jealousy of manuals. lol And it too..like the M3..shifts perfectly. Both really, really put the LS transmission to complete and total shame.

Only take it out on nice occassional weekends and love that thing.

Plan to keep it for awhile..I think. However used SL55 AMG's (supercharged) are calling me. lol

From what i can gather, you prefer the coupes over the four door AMGs.

I have always sided with Bavarian Motor Works, but lately been making the transition to the AMGs.

I have had my eyes on the CLS 55/63s and E63 AMGs. Hopefully the E55 or E550 would take the place of the LS.

Very nice Lseguy. Good BMWs are just too much fun.

Edgar, that are some really nice late year E55s for sale right now with great prices. You should really drive one and feel their retarded power rush.

cant get over the fact how clean that is for a 20 year old vehicle.

+99 have to agree i. i think its cleaner than my ls
and /drool over the cl and sl (hardtop convert...#($* ya!!) . ive wanted that for my next car since i bought the ls, its just a lil outta my price range as i like to pay cash for my vehicles...i dotn like loans and...interest...

Super clean and classy a car to really appreciate, you have very nice taste in vehicles and all seem to be emaculate.

Sad you took the roof rack off I really like the look.:(

Artur, my cousin has E63 wagon and the thing has.....you put it in a good way, retarded power. E55 may not have as much kick, but still i am sure it would be plenty.
I stopped at the Benz dealership near my job a few days ago and the lot was filled with E350 4 matics, S600, etc but E55 AMGs.
I got a bad itch for one, but don't want to get rid of the LS right now after dumping all this money into it.

Here is a clean one - somewhat pricey but look badass. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detai...rId=23645&rpp=50&feedSegId=28705&aff=national

Wow I don't like Benz but damn. Love the color of the wood and the ds rotors.

If you stepped into one, you would fall in love...The amount of work and detail that goes into those cars, nothin can touch them. That car new is close to $90,000 and worth every penny if you ask me.

The calipers on them are huge. It's a hair away from touching the wheels and those are 18s.

Love that bimmer, except for the ladder rack on top...lol, just playin. Very clean...and the CL isnt too shabby either

They are nice cars. The only thing Benz could have done little different is the tail lights. They seem too generic...
