Last weekend I was involved in a hit and run.. Thank god we found them so now they have to pay for the damage. Waiting for an adjuster to come out now. Once the car is fixed I think a new color sounds good! Damage isnt servere but it still sucks.

Lol no kidding the grille is starting to become gold just grabbed one today even though I have a gen 2 now....but it was all you can carry at the local u pull yard...also scored some very decent gen 1 headlights drivers side is slight yellow with very minor chrome peel and the passengers side is almost mint a little buff and good as new

I actually lucked out because I purchased a set of headlights from jamie so Ill be good on that. Once I get them I will start fixing the car hopefully.

it was funny because when we found the driver it was a kid I graduated from high school with. He told the police it wasnt his vehicle but he had a ID tag in his windsheild lol. A piece of my bumper was in his rear bumper.

Any hit and run sucks. In my case I was sound asleep, and in the morning I went out to my car and the door looked like this.

Mirror was smashed, and hanging there like an eyeball. Yeah, I was a real happy camper.

:eek::eek:i would kill someone, if i ever found them...

Prime example of why i park about 7 cars further back then the last car in the lot. Or just overall parking in the safest of spots whenever possible.

Glad you got the guy responsible though.

Was one of the punks in the house across the street or one of their frequent "guests" who stopped by to pick up a bag. Yeah, I wanted to head over with a bat and start busting kneecaps til someone talked.
Me and a buddy pried the steel out with a 2x4 far enough that the window could operate, and I drove it like that for months til I could find a replacement door and get it hung.

i always park close to two door cars, and large trucks, this way there door is most difinatley going to hit mine and leave a nice paint swatch of there to mine
