I am thinking of purchasing a navigation head unit and picking up Sirius to go with it. The question is whether I will need two antenna(s) for the project or is there usually only one (that supplies a signal for both the GPS and satellite radio)??

Thanks in advance...

You'll need two. Also, the DVD unit, wiring harness' and other sundry parts.

AFAIK, it's always two.

The unit should come with everything except for harnesses.

The navigation unit will have an antenna, and the Sirius will have an antenna. You can mount them anywhere in the car that can be seen by the sky. They can be mounted side by side on the dash if you choose. Mine are on the passenger dash by the right a-pillar.
