Here there and everywhere
Figured I would finally get around to showing everybody my Mark, no where near as nice as most on here but it has come a long way! I'd like to thank Gman for the chrome brow which I still have not taken any updated pictures of it.

I bought it for $900 I know I over paid, but I really wanted it. It was hit in the front they said a deer done that, but I think the guy missed the deer and hit a ditch, both airbags blew and still are, I went to to pull-a-part in Nashville and got the fender, header panel, inner wheel skirt, sunroof and a few other things only paid $120 for all of it. Still need the oil pan gasket fixed, one rear air bag, hood and grille. First thing I will do is the oil pan, it leaks to much for me to drive it out of town.

Here's how it was when I got it:

Everything is fixable, even when they shouldn't be!

You can kind of see my oil leak in the next few pictures.

Paid $20 for the billet grille, still working on getting it to fit better, not the best fit or look but it works for now. It's off an RX8.

My old Mustang, just wanted to throw it in here!

I'm thinking of painting the snowflakes black and leave the lip polished.

nice to see another one saved from the bone yard
keep up the good work and must have been a steel dear
also post more progress pics of how you got it to where it is now
maybe octane will sell you his wheels cheep when he gets his new ones on

I just sold a guy a "hit deer special" with the extra parts to fix it. The whole car with almost all the parts to fix left my yard for $950. I paid $523...lol

I think that's all the pictures I have of the progress, my laptop got hit with a virus. I will get up to date pictures sooner or later. I'll refinish my wheels for now, no extra money for stuff. Plus I want either the saleen's or the 03 cobra's from the custom wheel shop.

wow nice job on the Mark I have no skills like that

Thanks, I don't have the skills my dad does. Once my dad gets this 68 shelby clone with a 2009 shelby 5.4 supercharged v8 done I'll get him to spray the wheels black, and help on the body.

The only things I done was work the port-a-power pulling the frame horns out, he got them as close to perfect as anybody could. I also put it all back together.

Not a bad deal, at least he has the parts I had to hunt for them.

good job man!!!!! If you ever need a lift pm me I know a guy out here in the boro who has a 3 bay shop with a ton of tools, rents it cheap.

Thanks for the offer but I have access to 2 shops, one is a body shop with a brand new paint booth, frame machine and one lift. It's closed because the owner got in a bad accident. The other place has 3 buildings, one has one lift the other has three lifts, tire changer and high speed balancer.

oh man i wanna see pics of that.. :D

nice work though. i've rebuilt the front end of a few cars and it ain't easy.

I'm going to try and get some this weekend of the shelby, they found a 2009 shelby that was rolled, cut the body off and are in the process of fitting a 68 body over it. It was supposed to go on the Power tour, but it's not going to make it.

It only took about 5-6 hours to pull it out over the course of a few weeks, if we would have thought ahead we would have cut the radiator saddle off at the junkyard, instead of fixing it.

wow i love seeing threads like this, a mark destined for the bone yard and all high and mighty must have wanted this one saved, im not religious

It was destined to get all cut apart, and have an old mustang body set on it.

I know a guy who's done SEVERAL 65-66 body's over SN95 chassis... sounds like a KILLER project!!!

Also, the mark looks good!! I'm still in the process of slowly repairing mine from a deer hit back in '09.. finally finding some time to work on it while not painting my friends '03 Duramax truck....

That will be different indeed. Post some pics!

Love your old 85 vert btw

Going to try and take my camera tomorrow and get a few, so far I think it looks nice the owner says he was talking to a couple magazines for a possible feature, guess we will see.

I loved it also, that thing was fast when you got traction.
