Intro

Just wanted to introduce myself to this forum. I recently purchased a 2002 LS8 and so far I am very impressed. I used to have an 02 Wrangler that I liked very much but needed to get rid of due to a growing family.

The LS I purchased has one thing to fix which is the COP for the #6 cylinder. I plan on doing that work this weekend. I have always been a big believer in the online forums for help on vehicles (helped quite a bit on my Jeep) and from what I can tell this is a very supportive forum with some great info.

In advance I would like to thank everyone for help through some issues that I am sure will come up with my recent purchase. I will post pics as soon as possible.

HA HA, I try! I learned my way around over at jeepin.com and jeepforum.com so I certainly understand the expectations that veterans have. I have already figured out how to fix the cd changer among a few other small things.

All in all these cars are pretty slick. I don't plan on doing too many things to it, maybe just some sort of a DVD system in the dash and seat backs (for the kids to watch).

Yeah if i made twice what i make a month id have much more progress on mods.

That's what is kind of funny for me. After having a Jeep for so long and getting used to a large aftermarket selection it will take some time for me with the limited LS assortment. Oh well...as I mentioned before I don't intend on doing too much to this car besides a DVD system.

Yup their right ! Its hard to read about all the mods and to see how most of them turn out. Especially
when several of the mods give you better fuel economy !
