Steering wheel radio control

Why don't you try the search function before you ask questions? You don't suppose you're the first LS owner with these same questions, do you? We're not particularly keen on spoonfeeding people around here.

I don't see where I was being a... (smiley face smiley face smiley face smiley face smiley face smiley face smiley face ) about telling him he should search the forums.

I've seen his kind come and go here many-a-times. Comes in, blasts a bunch of questions, gets some poor sucker(s) to trip all over him (themselves) with answering him, then he's gone until the next time he has another problem with his car, with not even as much as a "thanks".

Look at his posting record. Every single question, he's asked, the answers can easily be found. Hell, the forums do a search for you at the bottom, listing 5 threads that have similar keywords in them.

Note to other new members...treat this site more like a library, than as an information desk.

New member + basic question + no search = poking the bear(s)!:)

There is a wealth of information here...find it!

To funny!! LOL

You know what else really pisses me off is helping peeps in threads and when I happen to abv. things like COP or DCCV they get all pissy that I didn't explain everything. Look up COP or DCCV jezz. Like mentioned they all want spoonfeeding.

Classic Frog - never fails to provide some good entertainment and laughs needed to break up the day. :D

While I'll admit that the Search function can be a little quirky, it's not that tough to get accustomed to how it works. I'd rather someone say "Hey, I tried searching and got no hits - can someone help me out on how I should be searching better?" instead of "I searched and got nothing back so there MUST be no threads on this."

Also agree that a little gratitude goes a long way. If someone is gonna take their time to help you (ESPECIALLY if the answer was available from a Search), then you really should be acknowledging and thanking them for their help.
