I was wondering if anyone here has a bra( and not a lady's bra ;-) )on their 2nd gen...if so could they post a few pics...just.picked up a mark with some light nose damage and would like to.cover it up for now....thanks

Not again. Those things will just fcuk up the paint even more. I would just pull the bumper prep it yourself and give it the rattle can treatment or after you sand and prime, take it to a body shop for paint. Bras are bad brah.

car bras are fugly.

when i picked mine up the entire front bumper was heavily rock chipped (lots of highway use). I took it to a body shop and had them refinish it and it looks great almost cant tell it was done.

It cost $400 but it was well worth it.

this must be a gen 2 issue...has a gen 1 on this forum ever brought this subject up?

Chit, I can't even remember the last time I saw a car with a bra. I was still in high school, IIRC it was 1996. And it looked like crap then too. I can't even believe that someone makes a bra for a mark.

i bought one of my gen 1 and the sides kept coming off on the high way and its the most embarresing especially when you have to pull over to make the adjustments. i like the look, i just dont like having to make the adjusments. wished it wasnt velcro:(

I saw a 4th gen Camaro with a bra a couple days ago. The car was red, and you could see the edges of the catfish mouth opening... it looked like it had lips, and was hilarious. Wish I could've gotten a pic, but it was too dark out.

Anyway, I'd spray bomb the front end before I'd ever consider a car bra. If necessary, get a junkyard bumper/fenders/whatever.

When I get around to having my new one repainted and body work done, I'll probably opt for that clear nose cover, it'll only be front bumper and grill and hood brow on the Black.. The only time you can even tell it's on it, is when it's laid on half the hood you can see the line

wait till it gets covered in bugs. at least you can clay bar the paint, your SOL with the clear cover. and after about a year they do tend to yellow.
