The search is over I've been searching and working...... 98 LSC 123k on body
around 80k on engine.

So far I replaced battery, alternator.....Went to Advance Auto parts and Salvo auto parts n got both tested. They tested out good. Battery is Autozone---- Alt. is Salvo's .OE rebuilt 3yr warranty.

While car sat for a few hours the battery was at 12.76.
Under load with high beams, radio, heat, and windshield wipers on the battery was at 11.80. With car running and nothing else on it went up to 12.5.
I did discover a wire coming from alt wire tucked under coolant reservoir but I grounded it. Got damn shop who installed the engine. Never again

Should I take it for a ride to give alt. time to recharge the battery?

Next
The car drives a little rough I changed coils, plugs, k&n filter, changed the IAC.... Pulled codes 1518 for stuck open imrc and second code for o2 sensor lean bank 1 or 2. I believe the problem with the o2 sensor code is because I haven't tightened the exhaust after I installed the trans.

For the p1518 I've read of some using Seafoam. I have some but haven't used it until I tighten the exhaust.

Thats what I read. Its gotta be something else that could be loose. Another problem I found was the fan blue wire was wired directly the the positive terminal on the battery. The connector looks as if it caught a little heat as well. The shop who put the motor in put straight coolant in as well I havent driven it anywhere but changed sides for street cleaning. Im gonna drain it and put 50/50 in tomorrow and burp it.

If you have temps like 10F avg like here. Str8 anti freeze coolant way better then no antifreeze coolant. LOL

You can free up the pass side(1508) imrc by hand.Follow the cable to the lever and wiggle it back n forth..Sometimes they can be really stuck so you might have to put a little strength into it.

looking at the engine it will be on the back left of the motor..Kinda gotta squeeze ur hand in there,

I'll try that in the morning.

Was hoping to read about 1/4 mile times, not voltage. BOO :p

lol i wish. I might could make it on the front cover on next years calendar:D

I got a reading of 0.05 with the battery disconnected and my multimeter on the hot and ground leads.

On the back of the fuse box under the hood. How many #4 awg wires belong.
I have one red hot wire

Problem solved

MY Problem was there was no power supply from the fuse box (under the hood) to the alternator.

I GOT 14.5 with car running.

I drove around the block and 7 new codes came in. I have 4 codes for the 02 sensors,1 for shift solenoid A and 1 for shift solenoid B malfunction, and finally p0743 for the Torque converter clutch circuit.
