Hi, im new here, ive been looking around this site for a while now so i decided to join. Anyways, right to the matter at hand. ive been looking everywhere for some 6000k philips d2rs for my 03 LS, ive checked ebay but my skepticism about quality and knockoffs keeps talking me out of ebay. My Ls was hit by and elder lady where i work. The damage shattered one of my headlights so that and the bulb had to be replaced but the shop replaced them with Ford bulbs. ive tried xenonfactory.com but all they have are d2s 6000k's. Any suggestions?

Dont think philips makes 6k bulbs as that is not DOT approved. I thought the highest the real phillips co made were 5k like these

there are a lot of "phillips" bulbs on ebay but aren't the real phillips

If you just want d2r bulbs, ddm tunning sells all types with a lot of color temps, even your 6k d2r's. I have 5k d2r from them right now, but will later try the phillips 5k bulbs.

You can pick the type and color

Thx m4rk ill check that website out. Does anyone know how reliable xenonplanet.com is? Just found a pair of dr2's for $288. I can't find anyone saying anything bad or good about it. Look pretty legit tho... Any thoughts?

man....190 euros is a lot of money.

Just buy bulbs from ddm tuning. much cheaper and youll get the same color.

Hope it comes with a lot of lube because you can buy 7 kits from DDM for that price and they have lifetime warranties on theirs.

well i think i found them but before i spend about 300 for a pair, whats the difference between Philips ultrablue 6000k's and ultinon 6000k's?

+1 on the DDM's. Have seen them in operation(with my own eyes) and they are CLEAN. About to put a set on my cbr1000rr in the Spring. Not sure why I haven't already done so with my LS. I guess because my "love" has somewhat shifted a bit....but shh......don't tell my LS. LOL.

Seriously though....go DDM.

The color is pretty important to me but so is the performance, that's y I was set on the philips.. Are the ddm bulbs just as bright?

With the cheap price of the ddm bulbs it will more then offset the price of the phillips bulbs.

You can buy over 30 sets of ddm tuning bulbs for the same price...cmon now.

I get that they're really cheap but I don't wanna spend money on bulbs that arnt gunna be all that bright or not that great of quality. I want the color but they have to be bright too. That's y I was looking for the philips bulbs because they're bright, good quality and they have the color I want. So I'm willing to pay that much money for a good product.. Does anyone have pics of how bright they are. Or even how they compare to the philips (besides the price)

Good deal.. Stuff I like hearing.. :)

Kit? They show two.. A fat ballast one and slim digital ballast.. I would buy the slim for that little bit more of money so it fits better..

Kit?

Andrizzle has the oem hids and just replaced the bulbs.

They also have just the bulbs separate if you already have the stock HIDs..
