they're not much to look at now, but I've always liked the BBS "look"(wheels are not BBS) and i got a good deal on them, and they're only meant to be winter wheels anyway.

I want to refinish them myself, either gunmetal or black and keep the polished lip. What do you guys think?

or should i keep the 8 spoke Linc wheels? lol

sorry about the filthy car, and crappy pics, only had the time to snap a couple of quick ones:

Those bbs style wheels show better with your calipers. If you keep the 8 spokes on, the salt will tear them apart. Look up the cost to replace the 8 spokes and you will see why I took mine off.

yup they already have a little bit of peeling going on, apparently they were never taken off for the winter since the car was made , thats why i dont care too much about them, but theyre not my nice wheels anyway, i got my sentas for the summer :D

I say keep those for winter. Gunmetal would look sick!

Psed? The pics are in the identical locations with the wheel pointed in the same spot.. lol

Look good for winter wheels

Lol not PSed we swapped the wheels on the same exact spot, and I tried to be on the same position with the camera to be able to compare later

since you have sentas for summer i would just get the stockers powdercoated black.

well you could just sell them to try and recoup what you spent on the bbs style wheels.

Yup that's what I was planning. No sense in having 3 sets of wheels. I'm not completely sure what I'll do yet tho. I think I'll get working on these wheels and see how they come out. Then I'll decide for sure.

Btw anyone have general steps about how to refinish these wheels? They're polished so Im not sure if there's extra steps involved. I'll probably contact the guy who refinished those OZ wheels

maybe not like crap, they wold just look a lot better with center caps.

no offense but those look like crap with no center caps imho.

well who asked you! lol jk

i agree tho, they dont look as good, ill figure something out to fill that hole up. I mean they're not even on the car yet.

Have a shop make you some decals. It shouldn't be expensice. Maybe like 20-30 bucks for all four. Thats what I'm doing with the volvo center caps. Going to put some decals on and clear over them.
