I quoted a response earlier.. I believe so.. if yours doesn't have it now, you would have to find a 03-06 sst shifter

I think you just need a sst shifter, I dont remember if you have to program it for that or not.

The first gen you don't.. you just loose d4.. now that I keep thinking I pretty sure you can do it on a second gen.. people have done the reverse sst on the 06s..

Yep.. just loose d4.. if you put it in d4 its 3rd..

wait... huh? god i feel like a n00b. ask me anything about birds or marks and i can tell you... but i just got my ls... and i feel slightly overwhelmed.

so the sst works, but i jsut wont be able to manually put her in 4th? am i reading this correct? but using the sst, i can manually go up/down in the gears.... or just leave it in d5 for auto.... yes?

Right now, you have d5 or slide it over and you have d4.. the sst goes p,r,n,d5 and over for sst, and d4.. it will still go into any gear manually..
