Lincoln should build a '13 LS on this platform.

Theyre not gonna make another rwd V8 sedan.

Its all ecoboost crap.

The days of the V8 are about over except in certain situations, i.e. heritage sports car vehicle platforms. This whole green movement is serious business. No love for gas anymore

I have been watching Ford race those in the Australian Supercar series. Badass cars. We can only wish Ford/Lincoln would make such a vehicle for us in the U.S.

The specs and listed equipment on these things are awesome and I'm talking about the inline six cars. I would be more then glad to have one as a 3rd Gen LS.

I would!!!!. A few minor upgrades to the exterior with a bad ass upgrade to the engine and manual tranny oh and a stock lsd, or atleast an lsd you can easily swap in.

Dont forget a full design of the interior....something similar to the mkz and mks

That would be sweet.. A supercharged 5.4 with bolt on exhaust upgrades and intakes would be the sh!t..
Screw that--just take the new 5.0 from the Boss 302 and stuff it under the hood. 440hp NA is a pretty damned good starting point, and these new Coyote mills supposedly take to boost quite well...

EDIT:
I was wrong.. Yes..

But this isn't better?

The Shelby GT500's supercharged 5.4 L block is now made out of aluminum making it 102 lb (46 kg) lighter than the iron units in previous years, and is now rated at 550 hp (410 kW) and 510 lb·ft (690 N·m) of torque.

Heck.. If there was a way to incorporate some of the looks from the Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca Edition, backed by the engine and awesome exhaust, that would be quite awesome

Is it the same 5.0 as the regular GT?
No, it has been revised some. It has a different intake among other things to boost it approx. 30 hp.

Be careful what you ask for from Ford (or really any Domestic manufacturer). They may resurrect a model and make it wrong wheel drive.

I think we can all agree that any 5.0 engine would be awesome.

And its funny how the new 5 liter fords are making what the 6.1L hemi makes.

The HEMI is a great engine dont get me wrong...but if you can make the same power with a liter less then....

The dealers couldn't keep them in stock. They would be sold. Before they got them off the trailers.:)
