About to get a 01 LS V6 with 150k on it, help me out!

Ok Its a 01 with 150K V6, 3rd owner very clean. He had the trans rebuilt with new Converter and Driveshaft. Runs great, has that clock spring issue and thats it. Is there anything else I need too look out for?


Also on a side note if I want to update my bumper to a 06 if I find one and grille is that easy to do? Thanks again!

and yes the conversion is easy enough to do.. its pretty common here.

since it's a v6, you Don't have to worry about timing chains.. You could look at the real offical Lincoln LS owners guide that is stickied toward the top..

LSE (06) is pretty easy and VERY common..

Fan, fan, fan, hydraulic fan!!!!! this sucker will cost you plenty. Also PVC valve and hose, alternator, fuel pump, IAC valve. All normal replacements, but the fan is the big one, ouch!

Meaning what? The V6 uses the same set-up as the V8.
