Relax. it was a joke son. lol.. joegr prolly can tell u whats going on.
My guess wuld be that the check engine light started flashing to let u know engine power was reduced to stop u from killing yourself.

I dont know about the limiter it seemed like it had more to go the cel didnt come on till i slowed to about 60 mph but its a 2000 model

oh.. well that wasnt ur limiter then.. mines a 2000 also. and our limiter doesnt kick in to about 145-147 If im not mistaken.

I just replaced a coil to fix a miss and it seemed to be running great maybe the fuel curve caused a miss after the quick deceleration???

its a 3.9l and a sport if i believe i just bought the car and am still tryin to figure out the differences in trim levels

FAST.. I just looked at ur pics.. u kno this whole time i thought your car was a cranberry color.. ur signature is misleading. lol.

no chrome on the bumper, no wood on the steering wheel, 17 inch alloys, stiffer suspension and sst = sport model.

I didnt replace them myself i figured since i just bought the car i'd let the dealership fix this one i may pull them out if its runnin rough tomorrow

Ur right. forgot about that.. Well on Sport models with the v8 it doesnt kick in until about 145 - 147

I think it is just 140
