Got the 93 7 years ago with 50,xxx. It now has 95xxx. Got the 98 LSC with 40xxx 2 years ago and sold it with 47xxx this summer.

Well I gotta say I'm half way on board with you on that. Lincolns yes but all the Fords I had have crapped out for stupid stuff under 100k. Even tho it says FOMOCO on the parts I hate to think my Lincoln is a Ford

I am getting the feeling I drive more than most people on here?
As I posted on my first Mark I put almost 100k on since 04 but I also drove my WRX and a 82' Mailbu Wagon for a year. I put around 4 or 5k on the wagon and the WRX is in the 90k range. Heck I have only had my 98' since last Thanksgiving and will have 23K on it this month

113k on my '97 base black on black
'94 Short Wheelbase #006 has 112,000 on it. I bought it with 106 and have been using it as my daily driver. That should end next week as I just got my beater SVT Focus back from the paint shop yesterday. I was planning on building that car into a Spec Focus NASA racer, but I have a new job with a 45 mile one way commute, so now I need a more economical daily commuter.

I know what you mean... but hey, That truck you see in the background of my sig pic? It has 118,000 miles & has NEVER, EVER quit on me! I think Ford simply has a bad reputation with their POS Escorts & Tempos from the 80's & 90's. I look @ it this way. Don't buiy 4 banger Fords. Stick to V6/V8 Fords & you won't have a problem.

You're probably right. But I had a 1987 Mustang 2.3L 5-speed that I put over 200K miles on without one single hickup from the engine and 30mpg every day. And I put almost 150K on my 1988 T-Bird Turbo Coupe before I wrecked the dam thing. So every once in a while, Ford makes a good 4-banger.

as for driving we started racking it up quick, 84 miles round trip just to work and back, plus any other place we went was usually past work put 75k on her in no time then we got the wifes exploder and it took around 4 years to put the other 25k on my baby. the explorer on the other hand was bought with 120k on it and is already past 230k, FoMoCo FTW!!!!!

We had a 92 explorer, went through 3 transmissions. But the motor was all original just replaced the alternator, flywheel. When we got it, it had 150,000 when we sold it, it had over 300,000 miles.

Well to expand upon my post before the 2 4 banger Fords I had were a Fairmont I got with 12k miles. Distributor had issues, brake lines blew out on me on Rt287 in rush hour traffic while going to turn off on River Road. Then my old man got a Turbo Coupe and wanted to sell it to me for a G. Open the drivers door and it falls off the F'n hinges!
Won't even get into the Ranger and it suspension failings :shifty: Plus all the 5.0 Mustangs I worked on and my friend Anthony turned the racing world on it's head but putting a SBC in it and setting records
I will give em props for making the MOD engine tho. Assembled plenty and that engine shows fairly good engineering unlike the Windsor and FE blocks
Hell nothing compares to the original Import that ruled the world for a while...the Flat 4 VW Beelte :dancefool

I've got a '94 Exploder 4x4 now that had 115K on it when I got it in March of '08 and it's got 141K now. The only major work I had to do was put a new A/C compressor on it, new valve cover gaskets, and rebuild the rear drums. Other than that, it's great!
