255lph walbro found!

This will fit in the gen 1 v8. I did not check other engines or generations.

Sweet, nice find. Post up how the install goes and if that rattle goes away

lol, no. But if you were to run a nitrous system, this would be a nice supporting mod.

yes..what would this do for us? would it be like a nos boost or soomething lol

it would give you more fuel to use at the motor, but first(or at the same time) you would need to make the motor need more fuel, aka no2, or boost

Fedex just brought a package to me. The Walbro pump is a GSS342. Guess what I get to do after work ? :D

sweet.

I get a package from fedex on thursday...ordered a set of 4" magnaflow exhuast pipes. Plan to get them welded on the same day.

I also need to pick up a new thermostat. Fan is running at 100% argh sounds loud as heck.

Nice. I have a 2.5" magnaflow x-pipe sitting on the floor of my car waiting to be installed.

So the 255 does take some modification. It's wider and taller than the stock pump. I had to modify the lid, and take off the upper gasket on the pump itself. Still won't start. Wondering if I should've wired red to black and black to red. Kk told me that's how the gen 2 marks are. I just don't want to mess with the retaining ring again tonight. So I'm waiting until tomorrow to retry.

Fitment issues (not being able to use the sock for one, IIRC). This was supposed to be a direct fitment, although some modification to the housing was made.

Problem still not solved. Turned the key to on position, and now get 45psi. But still no start. Going to check if the injectors are getting power tonight after work.

Injectors getting power. Now have to check spark. SO glad I have a second vehicle.

It was weak, and needed to be replaced anyways.

I'm actually thinking (actually, KK had mentioned) that it could be the crank sensor. All the symptoms point to it. And it's a relatively easy and cheap replacement.
