error code 217 coil#3 malfunctioning

checked coil connections then fired her up...drove her hard for 15 minutes no cil...runs smooth at idle for 2 minutes then idle gets sporadic jumps up and down couple hundred rpm's....changed iacv already...any ideas?

Do you have a Gen 1 or Gen 2?

You need to replace the coil on the passenger side. It's bad.
even though I am not getting cel...is that the reason for the surging of the idle? i have seen the screaming demon packs advertised how do they compare to oem? I have these mods: true duals with lms x pipe, 3200 stall stage 2 shift kit, 4.10 with a locker, sct chip, along with suspension mods. thank you.

I thought you had a code 217. That is what needs to be replaced with that code. So you don't have a code?
I did have a code then played around with the coils fired her up then drove her the hardest I have driven her well since the last time I got arrested driving her....let her idle in driveway the idle stumble came back...based on research sounds like it maybe the coils just not sure. plugs are new wires are in good shape...initially after changing dpfe the car was stumbling bad during acceleration almost as if it was backfiring in the engine...that has cleared up. Also since I have the wiper motor out I was toying with the idea of keeping that black panel out after reinstalling wiper motor my thought is how much more heat will be released from the hood...have you heard of anyone doing that? am I looking for a problem I am not aware of by not reinstalling that panel?
