I dont know if you have all been following but my Mark is the best alarm clock out there. The alarm has been going off every morning around 630. So last week I went and pulled the fuse for the alarm. All was fine tell this morning when it went off again at about the same time. Aside from my Mark being haunted would the only other thing to do be disconnect the wiring harness from the "brain" of the alarm? And if so where would it be located at?

If you press the plunger on the door down to lock the car, the alarm will not arm and not go off. Gen 1 factory alarms suck. Water gets in and focks them all up. Mine will go off as soon as the temp drops below 50 degrees outside.

I just need to find the brain and disconnect it. But it is interesting that yours goes off when its cooler. Mine has start playing alarm clock when it started getting into the 70's every morning.

I figured the alarm was keeping you up at night. My car never gets left anywhere long enough for it to matter, so I never looked for the brain. I have the factory repair book if you want me to look up where it is for you.

Its not keeping me up at night its just waking me up every morning... And a couple of weekends ago it woke up the neighbors and they woke me up. It sucks that it goes off an hour before the alarm on my nightstand. lol That would be cool if you could look it up. It would be a big help. Thanks.

i believe its behind the glovebox and it has 2 plugs on it. once unplugged it wont wake you up anymore but it will still sound like it arms itself when you use the key fob to arm it.

have you checked the alarm switch under the hood. that could be a likely candidate too. easier to get at and disconnect too.

Yes I did that was the first thing to go... I pulled disconnected that switch first even before the fuse.
