I just thought that I would tell you guys I got blessed today.. Being blessed takes both free climbing and belted climbing and you must express both going up and down the pole. When you get to the top, you have to hang off each side and touch the end of the cross-beam (things the wires sit on). Then we had to come down half way and belt in. After we belted in, we had to do a 360 no handed around the pole one way and back around the other way. Then spiral down. I'm pretty glad that I got it out of the way. Now I can "go to work" doing other things up there..

This wasn't just a thread about bs, I also wanted to tell you guys where my mods are going/at..

Extra Intake to get started on the supercharger project and SST shifter soon to be shipped out

Waiting on the 8.8 Housing to get back in stock so I can get crackin on that

LED lights are coming along. Hit a dead end and made the board too big so I have to start from scratch and make a smaller one. I tried to make it so there wouldn't be a big gap between the inner and outers but I needed a part of the light to be raised when it's not possible..
 
I dont get the first part. So you're a linemen now?

Nice list of mods. I'll be needing an lsd soon too, I wish I didn't have to go axle searching but I do.

+1. The only linemen I know about are football players and I doubt that's it.

This is off topic but Alex....whats going on with that turbo setup? Did you ever drop off your car?
 
I'm in school to be a lineman.. I needed to get "blessed" so I could get the safety harness off. So now that I have the safety harness off, I'm a qualified lineman..

You also need gen 1 axle shafts I believe.. max has a real good price on the case, LSD, and gears.

Yeah, I dropped the car off almost a month ago and got it back a week later. It felt SO LONG! I missed my ls so much.lol. They are working on the kit now. They are going to give me 2 weeks notice when they'll need my car again to test fit the turbo kit and dyno tune it. Hopefully it will be soon so I can do some mods. I'm dying just sitting here with all these ideas and not being able to do anything but save up for the turbo.

So not football then right? You're trying to be the guy in the picture?

Wasn't the axle shaft if you were going with custom gears and a mark carrier? And what gears does max have? I dont need gears just need the carrier,axles and the mustang 28 spline trac loc to drop in, or so I thought.I didn't think about asking max about it. Sweet, thanks, I'll email him tomorrow.

Not football.. Electrical..

What you would need, if your going to gear, is the housing, gears, track-loc, custom driveshaft, and gen 1 axle shafts since you have a second gen. Just to put a LSD in, you don't need all of that.. Idk if you need gen 1 axles for the LSD swap or not. I haven't done research on 2nd gen..

for a 2nd gen, you need a 1st gen housing, 1st gen axles, and a 28 spline 8.8 trac-loc(or different LSD of your choice).
 
Congrats on being a linemen now. I alays thought it was football from when you said you were going to be a linemen in college a while ago.

j/k. I have a new hobby that's been eating up my extra income. Cuban cigars. Just got one box in, and have another on the way. BOught a 100 capacity humidor, the BEST humidification beads, and a few other things. $500 goes real fast.

The only thing I have is a driveshaft and housing lined up. Just need to buy the lsd/gears (Figure I can sell the stock pumpkin with LSD already installed that's in the car now). And a new fuel pump comes first.

I MAY be getting rid of the cats very soon :D

Congrats! That's a big achievement. How fast are you getting up and down? How many raw eggs did you get to eat? :p

Got a rodeo near you? You'll have to fly the LVC flag and take first. :)
 
Today I wasn't on my game.. I slipped and did the loggers way of coming down.. that is kicking the hooks out of the pole and coming down 10-15 feet and sticking back in.. scared the sh!t out of me..
