led dome light

194 BULBS for pretty much the whole car, the rear dome light is a 212 and the trunk is also 212. so seven 194's and two 212's will do the whole interior and trunk. and 194's if you want to do the plate lights.

Good bulbs and great customer service. They have 90 day warranty on their bulbs, I believe, and they were quick to exchange mine when I returned one to them.

alot of guys here like v-led's but i bot mine off ebay with freeshipping from hongkong cheap prices havent had an issue yet...always get more then you need incase you blow one.

ok so im confused i looked at 2 different places and one is telling me the 42mm bulb will work and the other person that emailed me from a different site said a 44mm will. now will bothe work or is one site dumb please inform me

yea am confused also what will work for the puddle the 29/39/42/44
what about the trunk?

The bulbs I used in my trunk light is 42mm from end to end, I just measured for you guys. However, the clips where the bulb go on and get power from are about 35mm apart. A longer bulb will fit,it all depends on where the contacts on the bulbs are. You can even jerry rig a longer bulb to into the trunk light case, you would just soldier a wire to the tips of the bulb if it too long to come in contact with both sides of the power clips

The light oem light bulb for the puddles is 30mm so the led bulkb should be close to that. The ones I got were a little bigger than that but also fit

2mm difference is nothing they should both work, if it's the same as gen2

Oskiny, the bulbs i posted in the link a few posts up will work for the puddles. Just choose if you want 5k or 6k color.

I say go out and measure the bulb in your trunk to see then. I'm not sure which bulbs are the same. Pektel did the led conversion too so ask him if he used the list of bulbs I posted, it's been around for a little while.

42mm 212 for the rear dome light(and trunk) for a GEN1 and 194's for the front dome lights for a GEN1...like alex said 44 with prob work depends on the contact length.

I saw these on ebay will these work for a replacement dome light they are 212

DONT DO IT.

IDK bout the V-Leds, but i bought a set for my lincoln. Gen 1. the dome lights, door assist lights, floors lights, trunk..you name it, it was changed. Eveything seemed to work just fine...for about 2 weeks. Then the dome lights turned into "STROBE" lights...just continously flashing when you opened the door and used the actuall dome light button, then i noticed that the door accent lights...continue to stay lit. not at full brightness, but like they still had power running to them...even after the car was off and the delayed headlight timer expired. NOT WORTH IT IMO but to each his own

well I know the front dome light on my 2001 ls is not a 194 the bulbs are the same size as the rear dome light
