Guys you all are great but I am selling my Mark VIII to a buddy he will redo the damage to it and I am going to get a Expedition. You all were a wealth of knowledge for me and helped me greatly and I thank you for it. I hate to bail on my car but in 2 years that I have had it I have been hit twice, keyed, transmission go out, a/c center go out, tire blow out, battery burst, and numerous door dings that come from god knows where. So unless something major happens in the next few weeks to change my mind I am just done. Once again thanks to all of you guys and maybe in the future I will by a 97 or 98 and try again, but thats a big maybe.

I think its just the car is bad luck for me. I bought it for $3500 and put wheels on it, exhaust, tranny and programmer. Then I drove the balls off it for 2 years and got $4200 from the insurance company between first and second wreck and now I am selling it for a pretty good price to my buddy. I will have made my money back and gotten a pretty much free ride for 2 years.

The major thing is my girls are getting older and they need more room and my best bud is selling me his Expy for $2000 and my old atv that I havent rode in 2 years. This guy has been way to good to me in my life. This is also the guy I will be giving a kidney sometime in the next few months as we are a tissue and blood match. I have bought my Excursion, Thunderbird and Expedition from him and all were great vehicles. Oh yeah and I bought one of my daughters dirt bike from him too.

Not as bad as you would think. I was getting 13mpg but now its like 10mpg with the lift, tires and a programmer to try to get back some mpg.

V10....... That girl would look and sound good with a kenny bell unit. Some of the mark viii owners are brave to be driving their mark. Seem like a lot of the mark have been in accidents lately. Wonder if there will be any unwrecked mark left in the near future. Sweet looking mark by the way
