Hello i have a 2005 lincoln ls v6 . The first problems i had were the coils. I changed all 6 coils and spark plugs after i did all that i drove it for a little bit and saw when i came to a stop and i would go it would be very sluggish when accelerating. Another thing I found was when going up a hill the engine would seem to have trouble and be sluggish also when i would go past 60mph. I drove the car for about 100 miles and then a error code came up for right side catalytic converter. I took it to a guy and he sad that the injectors need to be cleaned but i have already ran sea foam. Maybe change the fuel filter? Has anyone had this problem?

Sounds like the right side cadillac (sic) converter is plugged. BTW, Cadillac is a car company (subsidiary of GM. What you need is a catalytic converter.

;) I dont know what your talking about i spelled it right... [thanks]

ANYWAYS

Plugged? Meaning like clogged? Is there away to get it cleaned? Or buy a new one? How do i go about fixing?

lol it doesn't say cadillac though unless he changed it

:/ my engine shakes real bad after its warmed up. Can some more people help me out?

Is the check engine light on? Did you get the diagnostic code number?

The engine shakes when its heated up and when i press the gas to go over 60 it wants to buck really bad. ANd when im a a stop the car gets up slowly like sluggish

Unfortunately (fortunately) the problem only persisted for one day. I had the code pulled while I was out for dinner that evening. By the next day I could reproduce the problem with a heavy foot but with some careful driving it was completely gone by the time I got back home (200mi).

On a side note, it was very cold that weekend (highs in the teens, lows around 0).

Did you pull any other codes besides 316?

Well i went out there and un did the coil. Im thinking that the coil was not all the way plugged in or had bad connection. Code has not came back up. GRRR dang LS devil lol... im start back on it Monday. Thanks for your help n8bachelor
