You are pretty lucky my car outside temp was reading 118 today. I took my tune off & set it back to factory to see if my tune had anything to do with it, but it's still happening.

You are pretty lucky my car outside temp was reading 118 today. I took my tune off & set it back to factory to see if my tune had anything to do with it, but it's still happening.
I have on 05 V6 and mine was off too....I changed two coils and my throttle body and sensor! It might be your throttle body sensor...my car has 46000miles btw. Now it runs good...but my mechanic said my tanny needs to be serviced soon. Cuz it does stutter sometimes. Everythin with labor, set me back like 500 bucks. But it was well worth it. Got so bad it went into that stupid...oh what's it called?? The saftey mode?? Or..ahhh, where it only let's u rev to like 1500rpms.....drives only like up to 20mph! Haha. Sucked! But she is running good now! Hope the heat doesn't affect anything! I live in socal, and it was in the mid 90s...and next weekend I am going to palm springs...probably going to be well over 105-110 degrees! LoL maybe hotter! Eh!

Usually on mid/late 04 to 06 it is just the COPs (coils) and the throttle body error codes are false.
Inteeeresting!!!.....hmmmmmmm....eh...oh well...car is running good now... and I have me a new throttle bod and sensor! Haha. And I recently (like last week) upgraded from like a custom t piece CAI....To a 2 peice with new hoses.....and it feels better. I think my other hoses were comin loose with the cheap pep boys universal intake parts! LoL. I am good now! Haha

Can you tell me the location of the Throttle Body Sensor? I would like to check mine to see if it is clean or needs to be changed.
It looks something like this on a gen 2 its right on the throttle body on the left side damm near touching the radiator fill cap, glad to see every bodies problems are straightening out, I cleaned my MAF sensor but the problem still occured yesterday the same day I cleaned it, If it's nothing technical it has to be the humidity today its 93 and damm near dry and I could not make it stutter for shiet, I even burnt out on some corners and floored it from the red light, and it still held up on the uphills with very light throttle, definitely eased my mind. take care everybody and drive safe this weekend.
EDIT: One more thing I hooked it up to and OBD reader to see if it would pop up any codes today but nothing came up and this was before the burn outs and uphills could that have played with the computer any? hopefully its just the humidity
