Can someone tell me if this grille comes apart. Can't remember if it does or not. I'm getting the LS painted in two weeks and I want to do either a LSE grille or something different. Still trying to decide but I'm going to have the shop to paint the perimeter the color of the car. I had even thought about having the water falls painted black. Any ideas? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BRAN...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item35aa671d77

You can't tell from the front. You need to look at the back of it. Ask the seller for a pic of the back

If it has the plastic welds I wouldnt recommend taking it apart, you can, but I wouldnt do it again, taping it off was much easier as retarded as it sounds. I have super glue all over my freshly painted water fall and the chrome surround now.

There's already a picture of the back on the listing.

I didn't scroll down. Yeah thats a one piece. You can't see the back of the lower chrome surround on a 2 piece because that is where the waterfall attaches to the lower part of the chrome surround so it covers it. It also doesn't have any "weld spots" or "glue spots",whatever you want to call it. The back of the waterfall is in divided in 2, with the center being chrome, 2 piece is one piece and all black. Their are not clips for the back of the logo to attach to the water from from the surround either and no holes at all behing the logo.

Why super glue? 2 small dots of epoxy or something similar. I have been using that quicksteel a lot lately, it's become very very useful. Unlike JB weld, it made for plastic too and dries in about 3 minutes.
