Will T-bird/Cougar/ Mark VIII wheels fit an LS? I know the bolt pattern is the same. I was just wandering about the offset and what not?

T bird rims will, not sure on mark rims, i think some do, not all though. I have seem many marks with mustang rims but mustangs use offset in the high 20's I think. I have also seen them with ls rims though. Stock ls wheel offset if +60mm, you can go down to about +38, but you might might be cutting it close with 38. What rims were you looking into?

The '89-'97 T-Birds also have the same bolt pattern as the LS. They have a significantly different offset, though, and I don't know if their wheels will clear the LS's calipers.

IIRC, the Mark VIII uses the same bolt pattern as the LS, which is different than the Mustang's, so they must be using adapters or re-drills.

i had my chrome wheels from my mark on my 1st gen for a summer, they fit fine, but the offset was pretty extreme, the wheels almost stuck out too far!

so the newest generation T-bird wheels should be the exact same size and off set, the older ones(these are the ones assume that you are talking about since the T-bird/couger/markVIII are all about the same vehicle, well not the mark its much better.lol) have the right bolt pattern but a way different offset

I assumed he was talking about 2002-2005 t-bird, I think those were the years, but yeah maybe he was referring to all years even older ones
