There is a 04 bmw 3 series 325i for sale in town. I can get it for ten. Should I get or keep the lse

The 3 series is like the Honda Civic of BMW's, my LS stock took out a 03? 330i from a 65 roll, was my buddies on our way back from FL after buying them :D

i say keep the ls...not that bmw aren't good cars but usually the only ones worth gettin are the higher trim levels with the bigger displacment engines. It all depends on what you will be using it for as well but i'm not sure you are gonna want a bmw with the smallest engine they have. like missing linc said the 3 series is the compact series they offer, so its like getting a civic dx. an m3 on the other hand, will sh*t all over the ls...

alright keeping the LSE

btw... I have recieved two bids so far for the custom turbo set up. Both were around 8K. Another company said they wouldnt even attempt it.

You think the LS is expensive to maintain, you dam for sure don't want to mess with a German car when it comes to maintenance.

Good call on keeping the LS

It has sst just like our lincolns

Why do people say that? It's like saying I wish it wasn't an automatic but it is but I don't want to say it is so I'm going going to use a fancy name and try to make the automatic sound cool. It's called a "slush box" for a reason.

Because a manual is for kids and teenagers :)

Automatics shifter faster then a human can so if you get a good transmission your car will be fine.

SST is for people that want to attempt to drive it like a manual once in a blue moon.

I agree. I hate being stuck behind someone with a manual at a light. When it turns green, I have to lift my foot off the gas for every shift that they make.

Automatics were called slush boxes back in the 60's. They improved considerably since then. (The auto in the LS is okay, but it's not one of the best around.)

I'm not going to start any debate about which is better, automatic or manual. They both have their points, and you (and I) should be able to pick whichever we want. However, I don't see the need to insult manuals like you see the need to insult automatics.

ever try to drink something and smoke with a manual, not the easiest task ive tried, i like the convenience of an auto in a daily driver but if i had another car i drove for fun i would want a manual because they are fun
