11 days after buying her, I took her to Road America for track touring during the Spring Vintage weekend. Only LS I saw there (there was one Mark VIII, but he didn't do the touring.)

If it's in the pictures, we were all on the track at the same time. I only got to see a handful of cars that I passed - which you weren't supposed to do:eek:

Always wanted to drive that track. My friend has a Porsche Cayman S he's gonna take it up there and run it in a few weeks.

There were a bunch of Caymans there that race in some Cayman specific series.

It's a great track to drive with the variety of terrain and corners. First time I did it was during last fall's vintage race in my brother's Porsche 968. They had a driver's meeting for that one and said there was no passing in the corners. Made for some pretty spirited driving! This time they just handed out a sheet of rules that said no passing period. I don't listen so good sometimes! I really needed to get some clean track to see what the LS could do.

You gotta go deeper in the corners.. :D
Looks good.. I bet it was a blast

Yeah, couldn't do that. The one weak spot on the car is the brakes. There's plenty of pad and new front rotors, but they obviously aren't high-perf parts. Maybe by next year. But it's still a blast!

Thanks for all the postive comments :Beer

Well that's what the shifter is for.. Downshift..
Yea, just giving you a hard time. I know how it feels to not have brakes.. Damn Rangers.. haha
