attn KC metro...KCIR LS meet this summer?

I went to KCIR this past friday and ran 6 passes at grudge nite, had a blast although I got smoked all 6 runs. Anyway...I'm gonna try to put together an LS meet sometime this summer at KCIR. I plan on running grudge nite on Friday June 4th and while I am there I will try to talk to track officials about the possibility of giving us exclusive staging lanes and a designated pit area. We can organize our own bracket racing and have a friendly competition (for any non-racers... bracket racing is where you pick the elapsed time you think you are going to run and the racer closest to that time with out going under is the winner so consistency is key...not horsepower). It would be cool to have some other LS'ers there to talk to them so they know we're serious. Friday, June 4th, KCIR, the pre meet meet, even if u dont wanna race lets hang out and get to know each other a little and come up with a date that works for the majority of us. Gates open at 5:30pm and racing is from 6-10pm. $20 to race, $10 to watch

i dont think we've met. i saw the threads for the ledgends meet but was too busy to attend at the time. im wrapping up alot of side work so i can have more time for the summer. i love racing so i thought it'd be cool for some lincolns to hang at the track and run some friendly races. Friday Nite Grudge is cheap fun for 4 hrs on a friday nite...and 90-100mph and no speeding ticket, it doesnt get much better

killer man, i'll see you there. i got my exhaust tubing, band clamps, and resonators today...still waiting on the x-pipe and mandrel bent 45's. i'm still hoping to have the exhaust done by the 4th. and i'm going to start the custom intake tube in a few weeks
