Who's running KYB Shocks?

How are they a good alternative to stock when they are just stock replacements?

"Purpose: Restores a vehicle’s originally designed handling and control"

They are built to just replace your stock worn out ones. An alternative to OEM shocks.

Not trying to be a jerk or anything either but its right there on the page you linked.

Normally I wouldn't have any bad to say Missing Linc because 99% of the time I find your insite to be both correct and intuitive, but you missed the point.

I am not looking for a Higher performance part. Just a higher quality replacement. Which is obviously not clear by my first statement so I will re-explain.

Any company can post "high quality replacement", like the ebay coilpacks so many people were having trouble with. Those said "oem replacement", but if a part is manufactured poorly than I don't want to buy it. Other companies like Bosch for instance make SOME parts that are OEM replacements, but higher quality.

Plus, assuming you've had a LS for a while, you know that alot of the OEM parts aren't worth there wieght in gold. Hence the search for quality after market parts. I am also going to be running Eibachs by august and want to put fresh shocks on the car.

So, to anyone running KYB's, are these a HIGH QUALITY replacement of a stock part. Would these be better than what ford originally put on the car?

And to anyone who is going to come back with Ford engineers know better than us what parts to put on, I present a small list of examples showing otherwise.

Foggy headlights
Craked coolant degas tanks
coil packs, coil packs, coil packs...
fan actuators
window regulators
cheap as& console armrest hinges
etc...

Manufacturer defects, not Ford engineers.. :shifty: LFMAO

BOT, I dont know of anyone that runs them in the LS community, been discussed before tho IIRC. Ill go see if I can find more info for ya.

Thaks Linc. Knew you wouldn't let me down!:)

So it seems that GR2 is only another Monroe shock in disguise.
