Well that sucks. I have my eye on some stock rims and I found a few websites that have them, hopefully they carry them like they say they do.

^ Wheel collision is about 15 minutes from my house. I've been there a couple times - seem like pretty nice and fair people.

Those are the exchange ones he is talking about. That price is just for them to chrome your existing set.

From what I understand you send them your non-chrome set and they charge you that price on the auction then send you a chrome set. They probably don't chrome your actual set. (Off topic did you get that mesh in yet? I am anxious to see how it turns out.)
But from what Stallone 81 has been saying I think the guy just wanted to buy a set of chrome Vulcans. I am not sure they made them from the factory chromed? Does anyone know if it was an option?
Otherwise I think his best bet is to fork out however much for the standard set then pay about 700 plus shipping both ways to get them chromed. Even though in his first post it seemed he didn't want to mess with the chrome exchange places.

yeah i mean im not looking to spend 1500 on a set of wheels that will prolly take 2 months to put on wityh all the shipping back and forth with the chrome exchange places. if i can find a chrome set for 1000 ill be happy but the only site i found them on someone on here said they never have the wheels in stock. plus if ima spend 1500 on wheels i would rather by i better set of aftermaket wheels not stock jag wheels ya know
I don't think any aftermarket wheels come close to the looks of Jags. Too much bling and not enough class is usually the case, but each to their own. Did you try calling that Cali Chrome place, or is that just another exchange program?

1. You win the auction.
2. You pay full price for the wheels (the 695.00 + the 1600.00 deposit)
3. They ship you a set of chrome wheels
4. The 1600.00 is refunded once they receive your non chrome wheels back.
At least, that's the way I understand it. You should not have any down time as far as wheels are concerned.
So, those wheels will actually cost you 2295 + shipping, since they need a non chrome set of vulcans in return in order for the deposit refund.

You are not even going to find a set of regular Vulcans for 1000.00, let alone chromed. There is a guy on here that recently bought a set for around 1500.00 non-chromed without tires, Lito LS I think. Pretty sure he is selling them now. So many people want them that if somone had them for 1000.00 they would be gone in minutes. Maybe you should PM Lito LS and see what he will take for his set.
Have not ordered it yet. No one jumped on board except LS4me so I will have to buy the whole thing myself pretty much so I need to save a little extra for that. I will order it in a few weeks. I also need a gen2 grille to work with so if anybody has an extra one, let me know
