evs are speakers, see mostly in the hood, they come in 8inch, 10 inch, 12 inch, 18inch, they are PROFESSIONAL midrange speakers that give off mids and highs too, they are about 300watt each for the 10 inchs ones, when you have 4 hooked up in your car, ITS SO LOUD, you can hear the car coming 10 blocks away, NO LIE!!!! LOUD AND CLEAR!!! NO LIE! NO DISTORTIONS! and dont think its just highs, these are midrange, and they bump, not like subs, but you can feel the power pushing through them, its like a concert on wheels, very professional sounding:D

why would i get ev's, to sound lick a dickhead? i cud put money my set up sounds way better then urs...with barely even tryin...

well i had the tweeters, with the 4 10"s and yes they tweeters worked, but the evs outpowered them, when i disconnected them, it was a small difference, next time in not going with tweeters, im going with powerhorns! cant beat those highs!:D
 
yea those evs sound so good....like i sed...people use them for tailgating and spl competitions, not cuz theysound good....the only people that will say they sound good r retards that put em in honda civics and trucks....and they only base it on how loud it is....

so for the record.....ev's in cabinets designed for specific applications= sounds great....
ev's used in lincoln jealous's piece of sh*t= sounds exactly how the car looks....like sh*t...

i see evs mostly in buicks, 300c's, old school chevy donks, only honda i seen is on youtube
 
lmao...look at those tweeters....what reputable speaker brand have you seen with bullet tweeters in there cabinet designs? none becuz without a horn to guide the soundwaves it would sound horrible the only tweeters. no one would b caught dead actually using bullet tweeters in a cabinet design...there are others that sound way better....the only people that buy those are broke n*ggas that cant afford the real sh*t...

lmao....u wud need like 30 amps to power them sh*ts, bridged, which i kno you dont have....you just keep diggin a bigger whole... otherwise u underpowerin em like....an amateur
 
Ok LJ it's cool as long as you like them. It's your system and it might be loud even, but what we are trying to say is that the sound QUALITY is not that high. That's what you get for having a shop do the whole thing. Usually people on a low budget, like yourself, just want loud and don't worry about clarity. Turn it up and enjoy my friend.
 
I have been running two Alpine V12 amps one four channel for the speakers and a bridged two channel sub amp in my car. The amps have been in three different cars and were bought brand new by me back in 2000 when they came out. I have gone through three subs over the last ten years though two Alpine Type S 12 inch and currently have been beating the piss out of an Alpine Type R 12 for the last three years now. I just finished putting in a new Alpine iPod deck and a power port custom mounted in the trim in front of the ashtray to power my iPhone. I'll take some picks tomorrow to show what I have.

Thanks dawg for filling up the gas tank. It saved me some money that I can spend on my LS. Maybe you would have a nicer LS if you would stop filling up other peoples' gas tank. Lol nice try d!ckweed but you are the one who has the cheap equipment that most have not even heard of. The few that has heard of them claims the brand is not that great(quality wise).

evs are a east coast thing, i dont expect you to know, and i didnt fill up your gas tank, yours is already full with sugar, i filled up your girls, thats what i said
