Yes I'm planning on a ls3 in my ls I'm changing stations to japan and also going to delpoy soon after so I'll have the cash. Also imma run a termac 6 speed behind it. Any whoo I want to keep it all stock looking on the interior so. My question is if anyone would know a place were a computer can be programmed to run the ls3 but have all the systems like trac control and all that neat stuff if not then I kno how to run it without all that but I would like to have it. Yes I'm a big chevy guy and the ls made me hate Ford even more but I love the look of the car. The Ls is my toy and I'll have a right hand drive twin turbo supra as my daily driver by may.

Yeah. Call sct direct and see what they say. i suggest grabbing a jar of ky jelly before calling, because you'll be grabbing your ankles shortly thereafter.

You trying to say it's expensive? How much are we talking about? A few thousand or 10k+?

The price I know will rape me because it's a custom computer to run and ls3 and still have all the ls features. The great thing with it though is once it's done 425hp before I get the supercharger on the ls3 and turn it into a ls9. Money iisnt really the issue it
s just getting everthing and finding the right ppl for the ECM and stuff like that.

If I had a dollar for every one of these threads.......

this will die shortly..

next thread..."Another LS bites the dust"

Which has been pretty much everyone else's problem that came up with an idea like this before, hence the severe lack of highly modified LS's out there.

if the ford engineers couldn't make one of there own different engines work.

you might as well just gut the entire car, wire in a hot rod wiring kit to get the blinkers, headlights and tail lights to work, and kiss street legal, and all of the comforts and extra's that make it a lincoln good bye

termac 6 speed
Termac.

I could just get a 2011 z28 camaro runnig 550hp if that's the case but it's something to work on with my dad and I love the Ls body style. Anyone could go out and buy a car but building/modding one is better.

Ahhh... To be young again.....

This isn't the 60's anymore. Newer (post 80s) cars are so electronically entwined that you can't just drop an engine in a car and have it run. Lincoln engineers entered an LS in the One Lap of America race a few years back. They have factory backing and access to all of Ford's vast knowledge on the LS electronics. They never got the basic stuff (speedo, gas gauge, windows, HVAC, etc.) to work. They had tons of problems getting the 4.6L engine cooled. Your only hope is going to be to run the engine from a stand alone pcm and (as was said earlier) give up everything that makes this a Lincoln.

Try this; put an LS body on a Chebby chassis.

No, everyone is making this much more complicated then it needs to be. Just go to the settings and change your sig to show you have an LS3. It is magic. Seriously though, it is never gonna happen. Build yourself an old muscle car instead. Or, go the route Cammerfe is on his car. Between Cammerfe and Quik that is the closest you are ever going to get to the hotrod you want with an LS.

I am a big fan of Cammerfe's attempt. There isn't any reason the 3.9 can't be made to put out a huge amount of power. Of course it will take all new internals, but size isn't the issue. Take a look at many classic Ferrari engines, F1 engines (2.4 liters) or Indy engines (3.0 liters to be reduced to 2.0 in 2011). They are all tiny but put out incredible power.

But those indy cars can also run 12K rpms... Amazing pieces of engineering.

LS3....LS9.... These are Chevy engines right?
GM Performance parts make them fairly economical but you will have to re-engineer the whole car!...Track-only if you can pull any of it off.

A new supercharged-from-the-factory CTS V will get the job done much cheaper!

Good luck!
