Trying to work out all the kinks in my ls, so I'm going to post a few questions. The only internet access I have right now is either via my Motorola Droid, or from a government computer, so it's difficult for me to navigate through pages, so please bear with me.

Feel a shake in the wheel at highway speeds. Wondering if I need an alignment or if this is related to my flywheel issue. My money's on alignment, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Are there any bushing sets available? When I looked behind the wheels I noticed the visible ones were pretty smooshed.

The center armrest's hing is kinda jacked up; is the hinge replaceable or do I need a new armrest?

Pretty sure I need a new clockspring due to none of the steering wheel buttons working. If I replaced it, do you think it would solve my issue with the steering wheel not going all the way up? (When I try to adjust the column, it goes up to a certain point and then starts making a grinding noise)

I'm sure I'll have a few more questions in the near future, but this is all I can think of for now.

Get it aligned, it's cheaper, could also be your shocks going down hill and wearing out. My steering wheel would shake a lot before I got new shocks, still shakes some, I'm thinking it's cause I went with crappy brand shocks.

Try a junk yard for just the hinge or ebay for the arm rest plus hinge.

I've read a bad clockspring has to do with the radio buttons not working and cruise control, shorlty air bag will go if it is, i think I read.No idea on the steering wheel tilt

You definately need a new clockspring. However, didn't affect my steering wheel movement at all, and never heard that through the many theads I read on the subject. Probably something completely different.

FYI: In case you haven't looked into yet: I had my clockspring replaced at the dealer for $250.
There's a sticky with step by step instructions on replacing it if you do your own work on cars. I believe the part alone will run you about $120.
I lived with it for years before getting it fixed. If you just got your LS, I'd worry about the other stuff first.
