If he does not know where to buy wax or a clay bar, do you really think he can detail his car without screwing it up?
just take it to someone who knows how to detail and pay him to do it. By the time you pay to fix your mistakes, it would be cheaper to have a shop do it.
Here is a good place to start. Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see all of the "How To's". By the way, nice ride.

Man go to carquest and get the duragloss clear coat polish and duragloss wax and your car should be shining. Pete told me about those products and they are awesome. Thanks Pete!!

Great link. That has tons of info for a beginner.
Sure thing, dude. Duragloss is a very underrated brand. Everything I've tried from them has been on par with other products that are MUCH higher priced.
Having the same car I like to use....
Mothers Clay Bar with detailer spray to glide it.
Mother Cleaner wax by hand, twice if shes likes it.
Mothers Polishing Wax with a orbital waxer, twice.
Wipe down with the detailer spray.
She will look like new.
I've got nothing but Black cars these days and have come to this method.
Im lovin the LSE! Nice wheels.. Thanks for the advice! I think I'll try the mothers products first befor i do anything else
does wetsanding make a sh*tload of difference? been considering it....
Yes. Makes the surface more mirror-like. I would be leery of doing it without knowing anything about paint though.
