So we get about 11" of snow here in Dallas(first time ive ever driven in this much snow) & as i was driving the traction control light, anti lock & check traction control all came on! what the hell happend?

Maybe a wheel sensor, maybe not. The way to find out is to pull the ABS/traction codes with a Ford specific scan tool.

probably because you were spinning out..

you had a large difference between your front an rear wheel speed and you pissed off the PCM and it said "I give up"...

on my mark, the TC light comes on whenever the TC engages
its a little light indicating "you spun" and TC had to assist
Dunno if the LS is the same.

When you restarted the car, did the lights go off?

that has happened on my caddy, I disconnected the negitive batt terminal for about 5mins,put it back on and everything was ok

No...all lights are still on

then you have killed or a dirty wheel sensor or a failed VSS sensor.
Something is pissing off your TC/ABS system.
Do you have CEL "check engine light"?

There is no VSS sensor on the LS.

might not be a typical VSS in the tail shaft.. but

there IS/HAS to be a "vehicle speed sensor" SOMEWHERE otherwise the speedometer wouldn't work.

The LS gets vehicle speed from the four ABS wheel speed sensors only. The ABS controller averages the wheel speed inputs and generates the VSS from that. For the navigation system and the rear park assist, the ABS controller generates a VSS square wave signal where the frequency of the signal is proportional to the car's speed. For the speedometer, odometer, engine management, and all other systems, the ABS controller sends data over the CAN bus (gen II) or Ford's bus (gen I).

Therefore, there isn't a "vehicle speed sensor SOMEWHERE", there are only the four wheel speed sensors. This arrangement is becoming more and more common as many cars now come with ABS standard. There is no reason to pay for an extra sensor.

then it uses the abs sensors to determine VSS, that makes the ABS sensors are used for VSS...

and your post, probably points right TO the issue.

ABS sensors probably have crap/metal on them, corrupting the Vehicle speed data

The OP hasn't said that the speedometer isn't working, so I don't see that theory well supported. (The ABS controller can determine vehicle speed with less than four working sensors.)

Yes, of course it is possible that it is one (or more) of the wheel speed sensors, and from what I have seen, that is the most common fault. However, it is also possible that one of the solenoid valves in the ABS module has failed, or the ABS pump, or one of the pressure sensors, or an electronic component.
The OP can get a diagnostic scan and determine where to start looking, or he can guess that it is a wheel speed sensor and remove, inspect and clean each one. If that doesn't do it, they could replace them all. If that still doesn't do it, then for sure it is time for the diagnostic scan.

I had the same problem in my 2000 while driving in the snow too! I had my traction control off. But then the ABS and Advance trak light both came on same time. They later went off but came back once so far hmmm. Now I also have a wobbly sound at 40mph coming from the front. Ugh
