Not an off the line race but from 45-100. He doesn't have many mods exhaust and intake. I don't know the year but he claims 360 at the wheels. I call bs and say that the I'll pull on him easy. What do you say?

Thats exactly what I mean. We will be playing in my sweet spot not his. I believe I will walk. He's already too bitchmade to put down a 100$ on the race. " I don't race for money" His ricer friends are allover the shop and I can't stand'em.

WRX's are anything special. I used to stump on them all the time in my old 'farm truck' Gen 1 Lightning

what mods do you have on the mark? those WRX are quick if it's a STI you better be modded!
if it were just the "cars" racing with no driver input the WRX does win "on paper".
but my low 14 second first gen beat the SNOT out of 13.2 WRX TWICE.
first time I tree'd the crap out of him and he caught me about the 60 foot clocks, everytime he'd shift he'd lose a 1/3 car length..
At the stripe I had him by .13 which is almost two car lengths.. far enough back he could see my hazards flashing..lol
After the stripe he roared past me with about 10MPH advantage, but...it was too late the win light was already burning brightly in my lane.
I killed him at the tree the second time.. he was only .04 back (1/2 car) at the stripe.
I didn't race him a third time, because "I" went into round 1 eliminations and he went back into the TNT lanes.
At the end of the night that WRX ran a 12.80.. which had he ran that number on EITHER of our races he would have WON...But alas.. he didn't so he lost.

best part is....
staging the car.. they usually roll in and light BOTH bulbs then REV the crap out of their car.
When they do this {non courtesy stage) I always take my time getting the top bulb lit..then I SIT..
while they are BINGBINGBINGBING revving their car.
Finally when they let off the gas and look at me like WTF.. THEN i bump into the second beam.. and laugh my ass off as they have .5 seconds to "get revvved back up and in boost" before the Tree comes down.
Works EVERY time....dumbashes..
IF they practiced courtesy staging I wouldn't be able to "DO THAT" to them.
But.. if they "double bulb" I'm gonna "burn their ass down" at the tree everytime.

I raced one on the highway, he was chipped and had exhaust. He did pull on the ol conti but I had the bottle closed. Any who I think if its stock you will pull on him.

And their only fast in the 0-60 department, after 60 you should have no problems at all.

I raced an STI from 45+, I didn't start catching any ground til 90+

From a roll it would b close. If its not an sti (giant wing on the back on the sti models) from a stop it would be close too. If its an sti I think he would beat u either way.
