Stock LS wheel weights

Has any one weighed the stock 17" wheels that are on the 2004 LSE or for that matter any of the stock aluminum wheels? It is a piece of data that would be very helpful when comparing custom wheels.

i weighed the 16 in wheels, they weighed about 16 lbs i believe

Holy old threads, Batman! I don't think GWL needs the weight now--for one thing, he weighed them himself; for another, those wheels have been on my LS for over three years...

from 3692 pounds, i would subtract how much every other part weighs. then from that answer i would divide by 4, thats how much it would weigh.

I carried the 8 spoke 17'' from an 04 to get a quote the other day and it felt like it weighed more than 22. I should've look at how much it weighed but I say about 30

to the top. I'd like to know this as well. Especially for the 1st gen sport 17's. My 19's weigh 33 pounds a piece without tires.

I just sold mine. Including the box it was 26 pounds each. The box didnt weigh more than 8 ounces and the packing didnt weigh more than four ounces. So, just a little over 25 pounds.

Wheel weights

Wheel weights come in various sizes. I think you can gettum as small as a quarter ounce and from there up to around two ounces. If you need more than that you have to use more than one weight.
