Where is the dipstick tube on a gen 1 Ls? I have looked everywhere and I can not find the thing anywhere!!!!
Omg! That is so stupid. I think that I am Fjust going to say the heck with it and put an add for the car fs before I have tranny work done to another car. I havr never had a car that worked right again after I had any kind of tranny work done to it
Even the new mustangs (05 and up) don't have a dipstick. There is a mod they have done to add one.
The problem is that the iffy lube type places continue to ruin transmissions because they don't know how to read the stick, and they don't know what fluid to put in. There really should be a need for a dip stick anyway. Transmissions don't consume fluid. If there's a leak, you need to fix it, not just keep adding fluid. If you do the correct flushes at the correct times there shouldn't be any fluid problems.
The only dipstick in the LS is behind the wheel1
i felt like a dumb ass when i was looking for my dipstick in my car, any one have a ball park guess on how much the dealer charge's on a tranny fluid change? i got about 58,000 on my car and never had it done
did you notice a difference in anything at all?i have my car tuned also should i set it back to factory?
Gotta say, I like the "iffy lube" tag.The problem is that the iffy lube type places continue to ruin transmissions because they don't know how to read the stick, and they don't know what fluid to put in.
