The power window on the passenger side will not go down with the use of power window button on that side. The passenger window will only go down when i use the power window button from the drivers side (main control) or with the key fob. What exactly do i need to replace? I see threads about actuators and regulators but im a little confused. Please advise. Thanks a lot.

It's almost certainly the passenger side switch. (I am assuming that the rear two windows are working from their own switched. If this is not true, then it's an issue with the master window lock switch.)

You don't list what year LS you have. Since the window operates as intended from the driver's switch & key fob then that tells you that the problem lies in the wiring or the switch on the passengers side. Don't worry about the driver's master switch lock-out it only locks out the rear windows not the front passengers window. If you have an 00-02, pop up the window switch trim and see if the wiring connector is still plugged into the switch, if so then check to see if there is 12V at the #3 terminal (yellow with violet wire) with the key turned to the accy position. If you have 12V on #3 terminal then check to see if you have 12V on terminal #2 (gray/white wire) when you press the switch in the down position, if not the switch is bad. If you don't have 12V at #3 terminal, check to make sure the rear window are working from the rear switches. If the rear windows work from the rear switches then the 12V power signal has been disrupted from S409 to the front pass switch. If the rear windows don't work from the rear switches then connector #420b terminal #5 (yellow wire) at the REM(rear electronic module) needs to be checked for 12V.

passenger power window - and some more issues now

I went to open up the power window console/switch panel to troubleshoot a problem that just started a couple of days ago and NOW my keyfob will ONLY unlock my drivers door. I tried my drivers side lock/unlock switch and i get the same result - only the drivers door luck locks/unlocks

The lock/unlock switch on the passenger side does absolutely NOTHING!!!it does not lock/unlock any doors at all!

My apologies for not stating this earlier but this is a 2000.

PLEASE HELP!!

Since you have also lost your window functions on the front pass side, turn on the headlamps and see if the door lock & window switches on the passenger's door illuminate, if not then I would remove the door trim panel to check the wiring harness connectors. If the rear doors do not lock/unlock w/ the key fob or driver's door switch than you will need to check the REM for the input signal from the door switch & then the output signal to the door lock motor.

PM me w/ your email address if you need pic's of the wiring diagrams.
