Yeah so let go my 96' after 3 or 4 years of pretty faithful use? A friend saw this one on Rt130 in North Brunswick and told me about it. Went out looking for it but it was not there

Came home refreshed my CL page and it popped up as the guy had just listed it. Called the # went to his place, test drove it, smacked a deposit on it and came back with the cash the next day to take it home.

Has minimal dents and scratches but the original owner was wheel chair bound. So it had steering wheel controls that where removed before I got it. That way the pedals are like new and never used :D

Has a lil bot of hazing on the inside of the headlights or course  and for some reason the memory seats forget :( That and of course the heated seat that doesn't feel like working is the drivers

I'll have to get some engine pics later as it is quite clean.

Your wheel is on the wrong side, the hazing is on the outside of the headlamp (wetsand and buff and it should be good as new).

Otherwise that is a good looking car.

Just some advice, go buy some "never dull" and clean those tips, and they will look like new. Also get some wheel cleaner and some real light steel wool and you will be surprised how much better they look with a little elbow grease.

Hazing is on the inside of the lenses unfortunately, I tried to use that when telling him what I wanted to pay for it. He was shocked when I told him the rims were on wrong on the rear as he didn't know they are directional. The rims are flaking in places so I will be looking to get another set of 17" or 18" inch rims after the winter.

Good looking mark. Its amazing the difference between the gen 1 and gen 2... gen 1 feels sportier gen 2 interior feels 1000x nicer.

Tell me about it, I feel like I am learning to drive a Mark all over again  My Gen II actually feels stiffer than my 96' but that could be because it has 40k less on the clock than my first.

However it seems I don't have the same feel for where the front, rear and how close I am to the curbs with this one as compared to my first. Def feels a ton more comfortable tho :L

when I first got my Gen 2 I fell in love with it's timeless interior and features

i must say that I like the interior better than my LS.....

And, maybe, someday I'm going to "graduate" to a retirement home. :p
