a reason to by a Mark 8 over a LS

I prefer the ride/handling balance of the LS. I get compliments on the ride of the LS all the time and it handles better then my Mark does.

For what it is the 3.9 is a nice motor and the 5 speed auto helps as well. A Gen2 LS will outrun the vast majority of stock marks out there. When it comes to mods though the Mark while not as cheap or easy as a Mustang has more readily available parts for it.

never seen any of them cause I don't bother seeing sh*t. I know of them from friends being talked into seeing them. But the demoters I got and what life exectancies we talking about? needing a hip replacement...getting to use an eletric scooter at walmart? having kids then getting married? not too many life experiences are worth expecting.....

marks are the sh!t, i've been looking for just the right one to scoop up, since i miss my 94

i mean come on, air ride, a 4.6 in the front, a 8.8 in the back, the radio and climate controls are turned toward the driver, and its only has 2 doors (the wind doesnt fukc you in the ear while driving with the windows down)

yes it does look like a space ship, a bad a$$ 4.6 DOHC powered space ship!
and the interior makes you feel like your in the cockpit of a jet

how many blown Marks are out there, i bet more than the 1 LS

the only retarted part of the car is ONE F@*%ING CUP HOLDER, you can put five seatbelts and three ash trays in the car, but you cant put TWO cup holders in it, go fukc yourself ford engineers! sorry for that little rant
BTW did they ever add another cup holder in the 2nd gens?

actually both comments pissed me off equally, and where followed by "well pull that POS honda up here and lets see what this T-bird/BMW can do!"

i'm not really sure why but every body always seemed to think that my mark and my LS were/are FWD V6's (however my first LS being a V6 was my fault but FWD, come on)

i know, it would have to be a good model, i mean if i want low maintenance, i would get a honda, but a nice little euro car, with some tinkering i can do, thats what i would eventually get

I agree completely. Exterior styling was the main reason I bought this car. I've always loved it.

To the Mark guys, I've never thought Diamante or galant when I look at the LS, but I see your point. I've been tricked a couple times at a glance of a car a couple blocks down while I'm driving. I personally think the LS looks more along the lines af what it was made to compete with, the BMW 5 series.

I get all kinds of looks, especially since I debadged the lettering. Just has the lincoln emblems now. People get all confused, not knowing what kind of car it is. Let em guess.

Call it what you want. I <3 my LS.

The Gen2s are even worse. Two cupholders but they are a horrible design, don't hold the cups very secure and are prone to breaking off. My car only has one now and I have lost a full soda into the back seat on the 1-2 shift. I was not happy.

I know this is just going to give you another excuse to post whore your LS but did you take the LS lettering from the side as well?
