Did any lincoln ls's come with factory navigation systems? If so wich year did they come out in?

Think it was the Gen 2s (03+). I have it in my 06 elite.
It's a Pioneer headunit (no amps, 6 CD), Denso DVD nav unit (trunk), 1x 4 channel amp (for door speakers - in trunk) and 1x sub amp (with 2x 6x9 subs in trunk).

Yes, 2003 to 2006 had optional navigation.
It was made by Pioneer. (It works much better than their recent aftermarket units, but it has fewer features.)
Between 2003 and 2004 a change was made to allow for optional satellite radio.
Between 2005 and 2006 another change was made that makes iPOD adapters not work well.

Ok thanks...Anyone have pics of the navagation system?

Sure do. These are from my 06 :

THX is a certification of sound quality and clarity that was developed by Lucasfilm Studios.

This is from a press release about the THX certified system in the LS.

Renowned THX® sound quality goes mobile this fall with the introduction of the 2003 Lincoln LS, the first vehicle to offer a sound system certified under the recently announced THX Ultra Premium Car Audio Program.

The new THX program, the company’s first for the automobile market, draws upon THX’s two decades of experience in sound system engineering and acoustics for professional and home applications to redefine the performance standards needed to deliver the highest quality audio performance in an automobile.

“Our objective with this new program is to do for automotive entertainment what we did for the movies, home theatre and multimedia — provide standards to ensure the best possible performance,” said Robert Hewitt, Director of Sales, THX Ltd. “Today’s luxury car buyers expect a top quality audio system, so it’s natural for THX to apply its extensive experience in sound to this new category, and we’re excited to have Lincoln as the first to offer a THX system.”

The 2003 Lincoln LS THX-certified system offers:

• 10 speakers, including four high-sensitivity two-way speakers (one in each door) and two subwoofer speakers in the rear package tray;
• Four 50-watt amplifiers to power the door speakers and two 32-watt subwoofer amplifiers for high output without audible distortion or compression;
• THX customized equalization to deliver the best possible sound to each seating position, and three user-selectable modes that optimize the sound for any number of passengers;
• 107-dB maximum sound output, combined with undistorted output peaks in excess of 120 dB, to preserve the music’s dynamic range under all conditions

The rear shelf. Where 6x9's normally go, right behind the rear passengers' heads.

oh ok ive seen it. Mine has the two holes for the speakers but its covered with some plastic with the carpeting over it. I always thought that was a little wierd

If you have that trey than more than likely you have the subs. What year is your LS?

No i dont...it just has the holes cut out on that plie wood. Ive seen it from the trunk thats how i knew what you guys were talking about. When i first saw it the first thing i thought was that atleast all i have to cut is the carpet & that plastic it has under it if i want to put speakers their...6x9's fit perfectly their...i have 00 v8.
