Today is the day of my incarceration. They are coming to get me at 11AM.
This is my last request for anyone that can help a kid with a muscle disease to
go to camp by making a tax deductible donation to MDA. The work that this
organization does is nothing short of miraculous but the research comes with a
pretty hefty price tag and it is through our donations that they can continue.
Your donations will help with:
* $30 - Flu Shot
* $82 -1 Minute of Research
* $100 - Support Group Session
* $800 - Child to MDA Summer Camp
* $2,000 - Assist with Wheelchair or Leg Braces
* $4,000 - Cabin of 5 friends at MDA Summer Camp

Thank you to all that donated. There was an 11th. hour rally that brought me from a little over $300.00 at the time of my incarceration yesterday until now we are at .....tymapany drum roll please....$736.00.:dancefool
There were two people that contacted me about making a donation but the website didn't record them for some reason that I am checking on. One was a member here and I will PM him to check with his CC company to find out what the status was and to make sure that it went to MDA. It's not as important that it came from my pledge site as it is to know that his donation made it into the right hands.
MDA informed me that the pledge page would stay active for another month or two so I will continue to pester my friends and neighbors, at least I am getting to meet some of the neighbors dogs.

My friend, your heart is bigger than any bank vault I have ever seen. The money will be used well by the MDA organization. It's nice to know that a group of people can pull together to provide some opportunities to some kids that got dealt a bad hand to help them out.
