Searching around I couldn't find a clearcut answer. I have a 93 with just a tape deck, no cd changer, the door panels say 'jbl premium sound' but they were in the trunk when I bought the car, I assume they're original but idk. I just want to get a factory amp so all of my speakers will work again. I'm just looking for plug and play. I know the whole "replace everything thats stock" but honestly, the 1 tweeter that does work, is loud enough for me, if all 4 worked that'd be amazing.

Or....searching I saw some amp bypass kits, which I'd look into, but how can I find out for sure what audio system I have? Because reading other posts you need to specify which one.

well im pretty sure you'll have two sets of speakers in the door and jbl all over everything.:D

if you have speaker on the door at the top near the outside mirrors and they are putting sound out,you have jbl

Loud enough, sure. But even the JBL stuff sounds like crap... Replace everything that's stock - including the speaker wiring. :D

Thanks, I will eventually. I just want the car to run great and look great before it sounds great. Tone, PM sent.
