Another update:D I got ahold of me a set of Kook's Headers from a guy here in town, new in box, $100!!!:gr_devil: He was desperate for money. My exhaust set up currently is stock front cats, x pipe, 2.5in pipe, no mufflers. When I get the kook's on, I'm not gonna go with any cats. I've been searching everywhere for a sound clip of exactly the same set up but nothing. Anyone have a clip of the EXACT same setup. Kooks, x pipe, no mufflers of any kind or stock manifolds w/ gutted front cats, x pipe, no mufflers? Either one will give me a good idea.;) I've heard a mach 1 with the same set up but I doubt its gonna sound the same.

Me and my wife keep hitting a lucky streak! Last night, I got gas at Sphinx(gas station) here in Greer and purchased a scratch off ticket and won $75,000!!!! I almost shi**ed my self!!! Instead of buying new cars and such, we decided to keep what we have and and not blow it. So I'm gonna just tinker w/ the Lincoln. We're heading to the beach at the end of the month so I want as much done to the Lincoln as I can.

Well if I went with this setup and got a pair of LM1's, anyone have that setup? Here is video of a mach 1 with the same set up as above but he has a catted X and 5 speed.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29BAgIfEx-E. I may be looking toward a Vortech in the future. There is a shop here in town that will do a T45 or T56 swap for $$$$$. I may look into that. So many ideas, I don't know what to do!!!!! I think my problem is I want the mustang sound without the mustang!

I making a budget of $7,000. I want to see what all I can come up with and stay under the budget.

I've never won ANYTHING from a scratch off ticket before last night. I went in to pay and grab a bag of chips and the guy in front of me bought a ticket and I thought, What the Hell, let me get the same one. $5 ticket.

Yesterday I was planning on sensor lowering the car. I drilled a hold just below the upper bolt hole in the height sensor bracket for the front, but the sensor is completely compressed and will not allow the bracket to move up any farther. The sensor is completely compressed in the factory locations. This is how it should look as everyone knows

The car will never sound exactly like a 4V mustang because of the location of the mufflers and the way the exhaust is routed.

Well I'll most likely go w/ high flow cats or lm1's. If I go w/ the lm1's, I'll place them closer to the x pipe instead of at the very back.

^DING^

Just like all the Crown Vic guys try and make their Vics sound like Stangs, then they forget that they have 17 more feet of exhaust...

You want cats, trust me, they make a better resonator than any resonator or muffler ever will...

BTW, awesome streak of luck!

Hell ya... if you want to have a quick Mark that is fun toss on the non intercooled B head blower and keep the boost reasonable...

Throwing the non intercooled KB on a Mark VIII is like having a ticking time bomb underneath the hood. I would get one but only with Meth injection... trust me my friend had one on his 97 Cobra and his coolant temps went through the roof and it was pinging at part throttle so he took it off and sold it...

There is NOTHING wrong with that blower, if you keep the boost reasonable and have the proper tune and setup to work with it.

I would put one of those setups on my car with ZERO hesitations....

ok heres a dohc bird w kooks headers, no cats a x pipe and too ghetto looking magnablows (if vids dont load click on the top

then the exhaust sounded crappy and we thought it looked bad so he put 2 "glasspacks" (for the most part) just before the x pipe then 2 smaller magnaflows turned sideways and tucked into the bumper

The final setup of your's chicken sounds great!. I wonder how it would sound minus the magnaflows at the rear? One way to find out:D I know for one thing, no mufflers or anything else will make that SOB loud!

I have kooks headers. they sound like sheet with no mufflers! too loud! went with 2.5 manderal bent and bassani race cats with magnaflow mufflers.
