Will a trans cooler from a 97 fit in the same spot under the hood of a 94? I am installing a rebuilt trans and I am going to put a cooler on it anyways, I have access to a cooler from a 97 cheap, but I am not sure if it will fit using the brackets etc and what would be involved in installing it instead of an aftermarket cooler?

I'd just get a new cooler... who knows what kind of trash could be floating around in a used cooler, and new ones are CHEAP.

i am looking to get a cooler for mine and read up a little bit. I saw some people are using a 40,000 gvw trans cooler? any particular one I should get?

I think the plates LPD are the way to go. Don't go to big if you dd in the winter.

The big one that I have (same as drillers), but not on my car... has the bypass so in the winter it goes right back until it reaches a certain temperature.
